We are a family owned and operated Spudnut donut shop serving the best
Spudnuts in Oklahoma made by hand the old fashioned way.
Dad owned and operated Chuck and Peg's Spudnuts on 1st and Pike in
downtown Seattle and Spudnut Shoppe out by Northgate Shopping Center
during the 60's and 70's.
When we retired from our 9-5'ers this year and needed to do something with
our time of day, we sat around the dining table and went over all the
things we've done and asked ourselves what we enjoyed most in life and
would like to do. Well, it was unanimous. Those sweet treats and the aroma
of warm baking bread just lingers in the soul. We sighed, aaahhhh yes, and
then with business planning and recipe research here we are now.
Spudnut isn't only a delicious confection made from potato flour but also
represents through fond memories, warm feelings of home, family and the
American dream.
